Microsoft plans to announce Xbox Game Pass content in two groups each month: one at the start and one more in the middle. Microsoft has revealed seven Xbox Game Pass day one titles for May 2022, with most of the titles being independent.

Loot River is the first addition to Xbox Game Pass, available on May 4 for console and PC players. Loot River pits players against difficult adversaries in dynamically created dungeons. It seems to have a lot going on, so anybody intrigued with roguelikes should check up on it.
However, release date confirmations and the like may reveal the huge elephant in the room early. Therefore, although Microsoft has not yet announced the definitive list of new Xbox Game Pass titles for May 2022, we already know of seven-day releases coming to the platform next month.
This way, fans' attention is focused on the upcoming Xbox Game Pass titles since they will not have to think about what's coming in the next 14 days.
